Strangely, whenever multiple Babalities are performed, the duplicate babies always end up being Kung Lao’s. You can also combine Babalities and Friendships together! Although you can’t do anything after performing the Friendship. These tricks are all fairly tame though. The REAL fun is when you realize there are other things you can do after a Babality. Namely, special moves so you can actually attack the baby or even kill the baby. This Revision was considered the almost-complete version of Mortal Kombat II. Almost all the Fatalities had been programmed in, along with two new types of finishing moves that were a total surprise to the public, Friendships, and Babalities. Unfortunately for Midway, the whole Babality thing was not tested very thoroughly. After people figured out the correct method for doing Babalities, they also learned that the Babality lead to some truly unusual and hilarious glitches. A couple months later, Revision 3.1 was released and considered the “final” arcade version of Mortal Kombat II. Not surprisingly, the Babality glitches were removed completely. 
Part 9, The Waterfront is a short yet sweat section. I really focused on the pace of the fighting here. I made sure it was fast and fluid. The section is a step higher than the rest of MK Reconciliation. Kano crashes onto the Waterfront and is captured by the police, while Cyrax wonders off to find the scattered parts of Sector. Part 10 The Soul Chamber, was a really fun section to make. I played with some new ideas that I took out of past episodes. Raiden brings the warriors to the first level of Shao Kahn’s fortress. The Soul Chamber is one of the main sources of Shao Kahn’s power, and is occupied by some of Shao Kahn’ strongest. I really wanted to keep the speed and intensity that was left by episode 9. The vastness and overall city madness isn’t present in this episode considering its an indoor area. To celebrate I felt the need to make a towering monument to depravity, the most bloody, stupid, irresponsibly violent thing possible. This video is the result. Kano is the leader of the Black Dragon criminal empire. He made his first chronological appearance in Mortal Kombat: Special Forces, freeing fellow Black Dragon cohorts No Face, Tasia, Jarek and Tremor from a U.S. Special Forces security facility, under the pretense that they would reform the Black Dragon organization, but really intending to use them as pawns to slow down any Special Forces agents who might pursue him. Annihilating an entire squad at the site of the prison break, they escaped the scene. With his Black Dragon associates given their assigned tasks, Kano headed to Outworld where he recovered the Eye of Chitian, an artifact through which he would acquire incredible power. Unfortunately for him, however, Major Jackson “Jax” Briggs had overcome his accomplices and defeated him. Jax used the eye to transport them back to Earthrealm, and proceeded to bring Kano into custody though he would soon escape.
Kano entered Shang Tsung‘s Mortal Kombat tournament after hearing rumors that Tsung’s palace was filled with gold and other riches, intending to steal them for the Black Dragon. He was pursued by Lieutenant Sonya Blade, who held a personal grudge against Kano because he had killed a former partner of hers. While Kano was free to take part in the tournament of his own accord, Sonya and her unit were captured by Shang Tsung, who offered Sonya an ultimatum to compete in Mortal Kombat, or she and her unit would be executed. Sonya and Kano survived the tournament, but many others died, including Sonya’s men. After the final battle between Shang Tsung and Liu Kang, Kano teamed up with Sonya and Johnny Cage to fight Goro. During the battle, the island began to crumble and Kano and Sonya were captured, and they spent the events of Mortal Kombat II in captivity. Kano then managed to convince Outworld’s emperor Shao Kahn to accept him as a weapons instructor for his armies. As a man with a knowledge of Earthrealm weaponry, he was the most suitable candidate.
Later, during the events of Mortal Kombat 3, Sonya tossed Kano to his apparent death from the roof of a high building. He was found by Motaro, who healed and imprisoned him. In turn, Motaro was attacked and killed by Sheeva, who freed Kano from his prison. Although they originally hatched a plan to murder Shao Kahn, Kano turned on Sheeva in the decisive moments, resulting in Sheeva’s death. Kano was then hastily promoted to general of Outworld’s rapidly shrinking army before the invasion was defeated. Shao Kahn’s act of promoting Kano, however, proved to be a lucky shot, as Kano was a very competent general. Even in the face of overwhelming odds, Kano stood ground and eventually managed to repel Princess Kitana and her Edenian-Shokan army. He returned to Shao Kahn’s palace just in time to watch from the shadows as Shang Tsung and Quan Chi sprung their attack on the weakened emperor. As soon as the battle was finished, Kano declared his allegiance to the new rulers of Outworld, the Deadly Alliance. The two had Kano oversee the enslavement of a small village, who would construct a temple over Onaga‘s tomb to house the Soulnado. During its construction, Kano was assaulted by Li Mei, but Quan Chi intervened, as the Alliance had made a deal with the Red Dragon member Mavado: he would eliminate the swordsman Kenshi in exchange for the opportunity to fight and defeat Kano. Mavado attacked and left Kenshi for dead, earning his battle. It would seem that Mavado won the fight, as in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, Kano is found by Taven to have been held prisoner by the Red Dragon Clan for quite some time (possibly explaining his absence from Deception). Before escaping their facilities, Kano explains to Taven that the Red Dragon had been experimenting on him, as well as their own clan members, in an effort to create real-life genetically engineered dragons and human-dragon hybrids, Kano mentions that they were trying “something new” on him, although he leaves before he elaborates on what that “something” is.
Kano makes an appearance in the non-canonical retelling of MKII, Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks where he is seen fighting Sonya during the opening sequence and reappears later in the game as a boss character whom the player (as either Liu Kang or Kung Lao) must defeat with the assistance of Jax to protect an imprisoned Sonya. He is subsequently killed by Jax following the battle. Kano also appears in the non-canonical crossover game Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. He is not playable in the story mode, but it is revealed that he was defeated by The Joker, who at the time was allied with Deathstroke. Kano also appears in the iOs game Arkham City Lockdown as an Easter Egg fighting Batman in one of the levels.[1]
The oldest of the two brothers who takes the name Sub-Zero, called Bi-Han was introduced in the first Mortal Kombat game where he participates in the titular tournament as he was ordered by the Lin Kuei to kill the host Shang Tsung and take his treasure. He fails to accomplish his mission, and is killed by the specter Scorpion, who sought to avenge his own death. Bi-Han then becomes the undead Noob Saibot.
In the direct sequel Mortal Kombat II, Bi-Han’s place is taken by his brother Kuai Liang. Upon his brother’s death in the first tournament and the survival of Shang Tsung, Kuai Liang is sent by the Lin Kuei to complete his brother’s unfinished task.In Mortal Kombat 3, the younger Sub-Zero escapes from the Lin Kuei who wanted to transform their warriors into cyborgs.They program three cyborg assassins to hunt and terminate Sub-Zero, who by this time had received a vision from Raiden and agreed to join the rebellion against a new threat.
In addition to the current Sub-Zero, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy included a playable character known as “Classic Sub-Zero”. His biography states that although he was believed to have died after the first Mortal Kombat, he returned to try again and assassinate Shang Tsung. However, his ending states that he is not Sub-Zero, but an unidentified warrior who was missing from the previous tournament. In Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, which serves as a prequel to the first Mortal Kombat, sorcerer Quan Chi hires the Lin Kuei to find an ancient amulet. After the first Sub-Zero delivers the amulet to Quan Chi, he is sent back to the Netherrealm by Raiden upon learning it is the key to releasing the god Shinnok.Sub-Zero regains the amulet while fighting Shinnok and returns it to Raiden.
In Mortal Kombat 4, Raiden once again summons Sub-Zero to assist in the defense of Earthrealm against the former Elder God Shinnok.[22] In the meantime, Sub-Zero fights Scorpion, who was told by Quan Chi that the Lin Kuei killed his family, but he leaves him upon discovering Quan Chi was the actual person responsible.[23] In Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Sub-Zero defeats Sektor in a fight for leadership of the Lin Kuei Clan.[24] He also meets Frost, his apprentice, and takes her to fight alongside Earthrealm’s warriors against the alliance of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi.[25]
In Mortal Kombat: Deception, Sub-Zero joins Shujinko‘s group to defeat the new threat in Onaga. He also confronts his corrupted older brother, now the undead Noob Saibot, across these game.[26][27] In both Deadly Alliance and Mortal Kombat: Unchained, Sub-Zero comes to encounter Frost for the Lin Kuei’s leadership, but he remains victorious.[28][29] In Mortal Kombat: Armageddon‘s Konquest mode, Sub-Zero faces the warrior Taven, who invaded the Lin Kuei Palace. Both eventually decide to ally to stop the invading Noob Saibot and Smoke. After the invaders’ defeat, Sub-Zero stays with the unconscious Noob Saibot to find a way to save him.[30]
In Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, which reprises the events from Mortal Kombat II, Sub-Zero first appears as a boss character, but then allies with the protagonists Liu Kang and Kung Lao for a short time during the search of his older brother. He is last seen pursuing Noob Saibot in the Netherrealm.[31]Mortal Kombat: Fire & Ice, which would star Scorpion and Sub-Zero in co-operative gameplay, was cancelled when Paradox Development, creators of Shaolin Monks, “couldn’t do it in time and under budget.”[32]
He is also playable in the crossover title Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe; in the storyline, Sub-Zero is involved in a war between the titular fictional universes and is the protagonist for one chapter of the story mode. In his ending he realises he is no longer the assassin he once was and leaves the Lin Kuei. Inspired by Batman he becomes a superhero donning a new costume with a cape, unknown to him the Lin Kuei are on his trail because they do not tolerate desertion.[33] Ed Boon notes that Sub-Zero’s counterpart from DC Comics is Batman as both are “dark, mysterious, brooding characters.”[34
Both incarnations of Sub-Zero appear in the 2011 Mortal Kombat game.[9] While Bi-Han is still killed by Scorpion and becomes Noob Saibot,[35] Kuai Liang’s fate changes in the first tournament due to Raiden’s interference; the timeline is altered and Sub-Zero is captured and turned into a cyborg instead of Smoke.[36] He is able to regain his mind and joins Raiden’s warriors to stop Shao Kahn.[37] However, he is killed by Kahn’s wife, Sindel, and he remains enslaved by Quan Chi in the Netherrealm.[38] Additionally, Sub-zero’s background is further clarified during this installment as well, as it is revealed that the two brothers were in fact abducted by the Lin Kuei as infants, after the Lin Kuei murdered their parents.
